Introducing Preferred Personal Care Short-Term Health Insurance

A person, let’s call him Stephen, just started a new job. Stephen’s new job offers health insurance to its employees, but not for the first 60 days. He looked into COBRA from his previous job, but it was too expensive. What’s a guy to do? Go without coverage for 60 days and hope for the best? That doesn’t seem like the best strategy.

We are excited to announce we are now offering Preferred Personal Care short-term health insurance for people like Stephen. Preferred Personal Care policies offer catastrophic coverage for people temporarily without coverage. Stephen can get coverage for 30, 60, 90 or 120 days.

To keep administrative costs down and premiums as competitive as possible, we have created an easy way to apply online at www.scsth.com/agent. To log in, just enter your agent number. Additionally, members will receive all enrollment and fulfillment materials electronically.

Additionally, we put a course about Preferred Personal Care on our Learning Management System (LMS). There is no test, but we encourage you to take the course to provide your customers with the most accurate product information. This course will be available no later than Friday, July 1.

As a little added motivation, all approved applications with effective dates in July, August and September will earn you an extra $10 (per approved application).
