It’s that time of the year again – flu season! As a reminder, many of our group and individual plans cover in-network flu shots.

These plans cover the flu shot at no cost to the member (excluding office visit copayment for noted plans):

• Non-grandfathered Business Blue^SM plans
• Grandfathered Business Blue^SM plans with Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) preventive benefits
• Groups with PPACA preventive benefits and our sustained health benefit
• Personal Blue^SM Basic
• Personal Blue^SM Secure
• Personal True Blue^®
• Personal Blue^SM High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP)
• Members ages 1 through 6 covered by a Personal Blue^SM Plan 1

• Grandfathered Business Blue^SM plans without PPACA preventive benefits
• Members ages 7 and older covered by a Personal Blue^SM Plan 1
• Personal Blue^SM Plan 2
• HDHP Medical Savings Account (MSA)
