We Really Do Care About Privacy

We sent an FYI last month about our dedication to keep our members’ personal information private. Now we’d like to remind you to help us.

Please remember to include [secure] in the subject line of any email you send BlueCross that contains personal health information (PHI). PHI includes, but is not limited to, names, addresses, telephone numbers, Social Security Numbers and health histories. That’s all you need to do to protect your clients. If you are questioning if an email contains PHI or not, include [secure] just in case. We’d rather you err on the side of caution.
