We are excited to announce the addition of online pre-certification requests to My Insurance Manager! With this new function, called "Authorization/Pre-certification/Referral," you can submit requests for BlueCross, State Health Plan and BlueChoice HealthPlan. It also integrates the Referral and Authorization Status functions into this same new feature.
Registered My Insurance Manager users will automatically see this new feature the next time they login. If you are not registered yet, read more about creating a profile.
Receive Immediate Approval for the Majority of Requests
For specific types of requests (Episodes of Care), you will receive immediate approval in most cases. There will be no need to contact us or submit additional information.
Some requests will require additional information that you can either submit online, or we may contact you to have you send supportive documentation. Additionally, requests for extensions beyond the initial approval period are not included in the online process at this time.
