Health Reimbursement Accounts

Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRAs) are consumer-driven health plans. That means with an HRA, you have the power to make your own health care decisions. The plan features an employer-sponsored HRA paired with a high deductible health plan (HDHP).

You can choose from more than 600,000 health care professionals and facilities in all 50 states and abroad. You also can seek care outside our networks. And, you have access to all the BlueCross discount programs.

Your employer will deposit a set amount of money into your HRA each year. You can use the HRA funds to pay any covered health care costs. Using our secure website, you can track your expenses and the HRA balance.

The HRA helps cover your out-of-pocket expenses. Should you have substantial or unexpected expenses, you will have the security of the health plan coverage. Once you meet your health plan deductible, the plan will begin paying covered expenses according to your coinsurance percentages.

Do you have a health reimbursement account with us? Manage your account by logging into My Health Toolkit® and clicking the Access Account link on the Welcome page.
