S.C. BlueCross Announces Career Fair for Experienced Nurses

Columbia, S.C. – BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina has career opportunities for nurses who wish to utilize their professional skills outside the clinical setting while enjoying a steady work schedule and an environment supportive of family and professional growth.
 
Nurses interested in taking advantage of this opportunity are invited to attend a career fair at the BlueCross facility at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, on Thursday, November 4. Recruiters and BlueCross nurses will be available to speak with candidates from 4 until 8 p.m. Nurses are asked to bring a resume. Barbara Kelly, BlueCross vice president for Human Resources, said the company has openings for registered nurses and licensed practical nurses in its private insurance and
government programs divisions. Most of the openings are for the Columbia area, but positions also are available at other BlueCross locations.
 
Responsibilities of BlueCross nurses include applying clinical expertise to support members through the company’s disease management and case management programs.
