Credentialing for mental health practitioners is coordinated through Companion Benefit Alternatives, Inc (CBA), and covers the networks for the CBA, Preferred Blue and BlueChoice® HealthPlan plans. On behalf of BlueCross, CBA administers mental health and substance abuse benefits. CBA is a separate company. To join the CBA network, visit the Join Our Mental Health Network page of our Web site. The State Health Plan uses another non-BlueCross benefits company to administer its mental health benefits.
Please note: Effective 01/01/2012, the State Health Plan provides Mental Health and Substance Abuse coverage through CBA.
