BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina offers a robust and engaging internship program designed to help students prepare for their futures — while having fun along the way.
- Program duration: Internships run approximately 12 weeks, from mid-May through early August. These are full time roles based at a BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina location.
- Career-aligned placement: Interns are thoughtfully matched with departments that align with their academic background and career interests, supporting a relevant and enriching experience.
- Professional and social engagement: In addition to hands-on work experience, interns participate in social events, volunteer activities with organizations like Harvest Hope, and have opportunities to present and engage with senior leadership.

Who can apply
To be eligible for the BlueCross Internship Program, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in a four-year college or university
- Have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours (ideally, relevant to the specific internship area)
- Demonstrate a strong interest in learning and contributing to a professional environment
