BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Again Recognized by Forbes as Best-In-State-Employer

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina again has earned a place on Forbes magazine’s list of Best-In-State Employers. The inclusion in the 2021 rankings highlights the company’s dedication to providing a safe work environment, competitive compensation, opportunities for advancement and flexibility for remote work.

“Our recognition in this year’s Forbes Best-In-State Employer rankings is especially gratifying in light of the challenges facing employers across the country,” said David Pankau, president and CEO of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. “Seeing BlueCross on this year’s list emphasizes our commitment to keeping our employees safe and supporting them as they continue to excel in their roles within the company.”

Forbes magazine’s final list of 2021 Best-In-State Employers included the 1,328 employers that received the greatest number of recommendations in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Forbes and Statista anonymously surveyed 80,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 500 employees. Surveys were conducted from October 2020 to June 2021.
