We have expanded the household discount offered to Medicare Supplement members to include members of their household that are enrolled in ANY Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield insurance plan! This exciting NEW EXPANSION now provides credit for household members who have coverage from a Blue^® plan from ANY U.S. state or territory.

For example, if a BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Medicare Supplement member has a household member with an Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance plan, the South Carolina Medicare Supplement member will receive a 6-percent household discount.

For new enrollments, you can enter the household member’s ID number in the Medicare Number of the Eligible Member field in Connecture,* our new online quoting and enrollment platform that launches May 2, 2022.

For enrollments already submitted, clients can fill out the Medicare Supplement Expanded Household Discount Form and return it in one of these ways:

As a reminder, this discount still applies to household members with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and BlueChoice^® HealthPlan coverage.
