ICHRA Renewals Are Right Around the Corner
To help you prepare for Jan. 1, we are sharing important information on what to expect when completing your 2026 individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement (ICHRA) renewals. 

Introducing Planned Administrators Inc.
We are excited to introduce Planned Administrators Inc. (PAI) as the third-party administrator, replacing AccrueHealth. PAI is based locally in South Carolina and has been providing services to clients nationwide for more than 44 years. 2026 Renewals
Beginning in the next few weeks, your ICHRA groups and their employees will receive the below documents and communications as we get closer to open enrollment. 

Communications to Your Employers From PAI (With Copies to Agents)

• Oct. 10, 2025
  • Group Heads-Up Notification: This is an email to groups with important things to consider. It explains what they will need to do to begin the renewal process.
  • ICHRA Road Map: This serves as a resource for groups, outlining the steps of the ICHRA renewal process from start to finish.
• Nov. 6, 2025
  • Group Renewal Notice: This notice serves as a reminder to groups to finalize their contribution decisions and complete employee plan selections. 

 
Communications to Employees From BlueCross

• Oct. 16, 2025
  • Pre-Open Enrollment Notification: This is an email to employees of ICHRA groups letting them know when they will receive their renewal kit and what they need to do during open enrollment to renew their plan. 
• Oct. 31, 2025
  • Renewal Kits will be sent to members electronically by Oct. 31. 
    *Reminder: Renewal kits are paperless.

What You Need To Do

• Remind your groups to post the employer 90-day notice.
