Services rendered at a retail health location should be filed with the appropriate Place of Service (POS) value, Walk-in Retail Health Clinic (17). Professional Claims filed with a POS of Office (11) or Urgent Care (20) will pass inaccurate information to the Control/Home Plan. Member benefits are tied to the POS; filing with the inappropriate POS will cause claims to adjudicate incorrectly.
