Reminder: BlueExclusive Cooper Network

BlueExclusiveSM Cooper Network
As a reminder, the BlueExclusive Cooper network was implemented for MUSC Health Alliance providers and facilities located in Berkley, Dorchester, Charleston, Williamsburg and Orangeburg counties. Members in the BlueExclusive Cooper network should visit MUSC Health Alliance hospitals and providers to receive the lowest cost share. Out-of-network benefits are not available unless for urgent or emergent services.
As a courtesy when servicing members in the BlueExclusive Cooper network, please remember the following:

Explain their benefits to determine if the member would like to be transferred to an MUSC provider or facility.

If the member decides to be transferred, please transfer the member to an MUSC facility prior to admitting the member for an inpatient stay.

Referring members to an in-network provider helps lower their cost share as non-emergent services are not covered.
The prefixes for the network are MBX and MBY. Below are examples of identification cards.
