We work with National Imaging Associates (NIA) Magellan Healthcare to conduct prior authorization for nuclear cardiology services. NIA is an independent company that manages nuclear cardiology on behalf of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina.

This prior authorization requirement applies to members enrolled in BlueCross and BlueChoice HealthPlan exchange plans.
