Renewing Your Plan
Open Enrollment begins Nov. 1 and ends Dec. 15 each year. This gives you 45 days to secure your health insurance coverage.
If you already have a BlueEssentialsSM plan, you will have two options — renew your current plan or shop for a new one. Be on the lookout for your renewal package, which will arrive by the end of October each year. It will contain important information that can help you make the decision to renew or shop, including:
- Your new premium amount
- Changes to your plan
- Plan benefit details
- Instructions on what you need to do to complete your renewal
