BlueEssentialsSM Plans

Our BlueEssentials Gold, Silver and Bronze plans all cover the same essentials health care services. These plans provide coverage through various networks across South Carolina.

Gold Plans Trophy Hover image

Gold Plans

Highest premiums and lowest out-of-pocket costs. A good choice for those who go to the doctor often or take many medications.

Silver Plans Trophy Hover image

Silver Plans

Balances monthly premiums and out-of-pocket costs. This plan has the best value for those who are eligible for cost-sharing reductions.

Bronze Plans Trophy Hover image

Bronze Plans

Low monthly premiums and higher out-of-pocket costs for care. May be a good choice for those who don't often seek care or take many prescriptions. 

If you're under age 30 or qualify for a hardship exemption, a catastrophic plan may be an option. These plans have low premiums. But you'll have a high deductible to meet before the plan begins to pay for health care services.

BlueExclusiveSM Cooper Plans

Our BlueExclusive Silver and Bronze plans cover many essential health care services. However, these plans cater towards individuals who live in Charleston, Dorchester or Berkley County. Members who live in a BlueExclusive Cooper area can visit any doctor in the MUSC Health Alliance Network. By visiting a network doctor or hospital, members may have a lower premiums than comparable plans in their area.

Our BlueExclusive Reedy Silver and Bronze plans cover many essential health care services. However, these plans cater towards individuals who live in Greenville County. Members who live in the BlueExclusive Reedy area can visit any doctor in the Prisma Health Upstate Network. By visiting a network doctor or hospital, members may have a lower premiums than comparable plans in their area.
